OrbitBRAIN started as a filing cabinet with good search, and I slowly stopped trusting what it showed me. So I gave it a feedback loop: every night it files new memories, rewrites each project’s brief, and reports its own gaps. This is how it works, and who actually built it.
Over two weeks of agentic development I shipped six Kanban features, and every one worked. Then I realised I’d built a better Kanban board while the one feature that mattered sat untouched. This is about the failure mode hiding in that story: shipping a feature is now almost free, but shipping the right one is not.
